GREAT GARDEN CONTEST

Is gardening your pride and passion?  Do you have a neighbor who has a gorgeous garden?  The Shaler Garden Club and Shaler Library want to honor your hard work and creativity in your garden or yard. Everyone in Shaler and surrounding areas are welcome to participate in this fun, casual contest for the GREAT GARDENS CONTEST.

THREE (3) WAYS TO ENTER:
1. EMAIL five (5) photos of your garden, plus a description [tell us a great story] of what makes your garden special, by the deadline of July 1, 2025, to snhlibrary@gmail.com. All types of gardens and gardening will be considered, including flowers, vegetable gardens, herbs or container gardening.

2. Download this FORM, fill it out, and mail it with your five photos to the library at their address below.

3. Drop off the FORM and your photos at the Shaler North Hills Library before July.

PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded to the top five (5) people chosen. 

Shaler North Hills Library, 1822 Mt. Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116.  Photos will not be returned.  Winners of the contest will have the opportunity to be a part of the 2026 Great Gardens Tour. 

THE WINNERS will be announced on July 22, 2025, at 6:30 pm at the Shaler North Hills Library during the Shaler Garden Club meeting.
