CENTRAL ATLANTIC REGION OF STATE GARDEN CLUBS

Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and the National Capital Region are members of Central Atlantic Region of State Garden Clubs, Inc. (CAR-SGC), a non-profit corporation that was formed on October 18, 2016, to succeed the unincorporated region of National Garden Clubs, Inc. that was known as the Central Atlantic Region. This organization, which was established in 1929 by Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Ohio, brings together gardeners areawide to create opportunities for all of us.​

GARDEN CLUB FEDERATION OF PENNSYLVANIA

Welcome to the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania (GCFP), celebrating almost 75 years of service to the state of Pennsylvania and our 4,700 garden club members. We are a charitable, volunteer organization of women, men, and youth who share interests in gardening, civic beautification, floral design, and conservtion of natural resources, environmental and legislative issues through local clubs. Membership in any of the garden clubs of the GCFP is open to all regardless of gender, age, race, ethnicity, religious affiliation or orientation.

GCFP is a member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc., the largest volunteer gardening organization in the world. The National Garden Clubs, Inc. is divided into regional areas. Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, and the National Capital area (VA, MD, DC) are included in the Central Atlantic Region of State Garden Clubs (CAR-SGC).

GCFP serves its members through 10 districts, each with a district director who oversees multiple local garden clubs, each with its own president and activities aligned with our mission.

The Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania holds an Annual Convention in April featuring notable speakers on horticulture, floral design, and related topics, along with workshops and tours. During this three-day annual meeting, GCFP celebrates and recognizes its members through an extensive Awards Program for both adults and youth.
